An ingenious solution to the age-old situation where a tight jar lid needs to be removed. Almost all commercially available jar openers require the use of one hand to hold the jar and the other to hold the opener, so a reasonable level of strength is required in each hand in order to succeed. Our opener is fixed to a kitchen unit allowing both hands to grip the jar, doubling the available effort and also the amount of control over what is being done. Jars and their lids or contents will no longer fly around the kitchen as the lid seal is suddenly overcome!
Modern jars and bottles have very tight seals, and may also incorporate a substantial vacuum. Both are used to help preserve the contents, but together they can also make the lids next to impossible to remove - Until now!
Using both hands to hold the jar or bottle, you can at least halve the effort required to remove even the most stubborn lids - a 10 year old can easily do it.
From huge commercial pickle jars to nail varnish pots. Any lid or cap from 15mm to 95mm, the self gripping design instantly grips the cap as the jar is turned to open it - using either one or both hands. Steel, plastic, ribbed or ridged caps are all removed easily without marking or damage.
Designed to be screwed under a wall cabinet for the ultimate in convenience!
